PrompterOne Privacy Policy

PrompterOne is a local-first teleprompter app. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Information processed
The app stores scripts, reading progress, cue points, display settings, and media files you choose to record on your device. PrompterOne does not require an account and does not include ads, cross-app tracking, or third-party analytics.
Voice follow requires microphone and speech-recognition access. Video recording requires camera and microphone access. PrompterOne does not upload voice recordings, videos, or scripts to developer-operated servers or use them for advertising or profiling. Your browser or operating system may provide speech recognition under its own terms.
The iOS app prefers on-device speech recognition; Apple language models may require a download. System network recognition is off by default and requires your explicit choice in Settings when offline recognition is unavailable. Optional iOS timing diagnostics remain in app memory, exclude audio and transcript text, and can be copied for support or cleared by disabling diagnostics. These iOS offline controls do not apply to browser-provided recognition.
Mobile Remote Computer Display creates a temporary local-network connection between your phone and a computer you authorize. That feature is not exposed in the web app and does not pass content through a developer-operated server.
Sharing, retention, and deletion
We do not sell personal information. Content is shared only when you explicitly export, download, or use the system share controls. Local data remains on your device until you delete it or clear the app's site data.
Children's privacy
PrompterOne is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
